Responsibilities: - Works safe and is an advocate for safety - Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials. - Positions parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements. - Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies. - Keeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs. - Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. - Documents actions by completing production and quality forms. - Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. - Minimum of 1 year experience in (Electrical) Assembly - Basic math skills and ability to read a tape measure - Basic understanding of hand tools and how to use the right tool for the right job in a safe manner - Strong understanding of blueprints and can work independently off of engineering blue-prints - Attention to detail, and problem solving skills - Mechanical and technical skills - Ability to work in a team environment - Occasional lifting 21-50 lbs., Frequent lifting 11-25 lbs., and constant lifting 1-10 lbs. - Must be able to stand greater than 2/3 of time. - Must successfully pass background check, pre-employment physical and drug/alcohol testing including hair follicle.
