Inside Product Specialist OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer).

If you are critical thinker and a technologist looking for an opportunity to exercise your judgment and assume significant responsibility for business growth, then we are looking for you.The Inside Product Specialists are part of a dynamic and global sales engineering team.They own the technology relationship with smaller customers and support sales engineers and account executives with large, complex customers.Our mission is to grow and transform ourselves to stay ahead of the accelerating disruptions in the technology world, while maintaining our vast and varied customer base.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Solve technology problems by directly engaging with customers, or in support of sales engineers and sales

  • Manage complex quotes through a consultative engagement with customers

  • Support rfp/bid response on complex enterprise solutions

  • Present the value of Dell's enterprise and OEM solutions to customers vi web conference, and occasionally in person at the customers site

  • Ability to solve problems without precedent

  • Become a trust technical advisor to the customer

  • Engage all appropriate dell functions including engineering, field sales engineers, account executives, operations and manufacturing, as needed to achieve goals/meet customer needs.

  • Prioritize multiple demands while ensuring customer needs are met.

  • Balance short term and long term priorities.

  • Ensure account opportunities are detailed in SFDC

  • Research new concepts and technologies (Mobility, IoT, new acquisitions, etc.)

  • Continue to keep our sales skills updated to sell/position Dells solutions vs. competitors

QUALIFICATION:

Requirements

  • BS in Computer Science, Mathematics or other Technical Domain

  • 8+ years of experience in a customer facing technical sales role

  • Expertise in Servers, Storage and Networking

  • Strong presentation skills

  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision in a fast paced organization
