As a product analyst you will participate in every stage of the product life cycle to ensure product meets the needs of users. Drive the implementation of programs in support of the marketing strategy, business plans, and forecasts for assigned product lines. Maintains current status of customer specifications for existing and future products. Identify, evaluate, and recommend marketing opportunities in support of product line objectives. Drive product functionality delivering high quality product documentation. Lead products through scheduled release assisting others to manage commitments and resources. Measure and report progress and review deliverables.

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Demonstrated product/project management experience. The Oracle Supply Chain Cloud BusinessGroup develops global go-to-market strategy, messaging, and materials, as wellas evangelizes Oracle s Cloud Supply Chain solutions. The group works across the ecosystem like productdevelopment, corporate marketing, sales, channels and the user communities, to createconsistent and compelling messaging. The team also develops detailed plans thatinvolve the determination of the target markets for applications and how bestto target them. A structured approach toselling is then created that empowers all the global sales teams to execute andbe successful.
This introductory position will be akey contributor to many SCM Cloud marketing efforts. Cloud Marketing Specialist SupplyChain Management, Procurement
Position entails the management and support ofmessage creation, content curation, analysis, and other key activitiessupporting the upkeep & promotion of the SCM Cloud area. The ability & desire to work effectivelyin a global, matrixed organization is critical to success. The successful candidate will understand theneeds & priorities of all SCM pillar areas & train/apply themaccordingly. Experience with andevidence of strategic analytical ability is strongly desired as are excellentcommunication skills, strong presentation acumen, and extensive and elite writingskills.
Position responsibilities include but are notlimited to:
Manage & provide updates to the SCM Oracle.com environment
Manage & provide updates to the SCM social media environment (Facebook, LinkedIn, SCM Blog, SCM Community, Twitter)
Review & provide input to all SCM Echo Chamber content
Coordinate, manage, and host SCM web series sessions via the WebEx platform
Manage & coordinate quarterly posting calendars for the SCM Blog & SCM Community
Curate content to post to the SCM Blog 3x/week
Manage all development, activity & posting strategies on the SCM Community platform acting as the SCM Community Manager
Run training sessions for both internal & external (partners) stakeholders in the SCM Community to better understand the available tools & posting mechanisms.
Build pieces of modern content servicing all pillars of the SCM ecosystem in the form of: videos, infographics, and more.
Understand the Global Marketing Shared Services system & manage the request process for uploading videos to the Oracle Media Network as well as requesting other Oracle Branding & Creative Services.
Desired Industry Background:
Marketing background and education. Experience should also include anunderstanding of the Supply Chain Management industry in the following areas: Product Lifecycle Management, Planning, and Manufacturing & Maintenance.
Critical Skills Needed for the Position:
- *Messaging and Positioning Skills: *Create modern, unique, and differentiatedmessaging for all SCM product areas. Communicatethat messaging to all market channels including Oracle.com, sales training,webinars, social media, and briefings. *
Powerful Writing: As a team member, you will be asked to create select,high-impact communications and collateral for the field. These includeexecutive blogs, high-level web pages and brochures, as well as presentations.Strong writing skills, with an emphasis on telling a clear story, are a must. You ll need to be experienced andgifted in succinctly describing the business value of products and solutions.
Presentation Skills: *In this role, you will present in front of both large and smallgroups. You should be accomplished andcomfortable as a speaker. You should be able to demonstrate aptitude forleading an interactive working group, as well as delivering scriptedpresentations.
*Sales/ Sales Training Skills: *You will develop and deliver a varietyof sales tools. In some cases, you will develop the messaging and thecollateral will be created by others. In other cases, you will turn the messageinto collateral. Therefore, experience in sales, developing collateral, orsales training is desirable.
*Cross-Functional Management and Influencing Skills: *As the interface point between Sales,Product Strategy, Product Management, Corporate Marketing, and FieldMarketing. The successful candidate willdemonstrate the ability to get people in other functions to make timelycontributions. *
*Research Skills: *You will often need to find facts on SCM products, industry, orcustomer base and will need to leverage internal and external sources for thispurpose.

Years of Experience:0-8 years of supply chain,procurement and/or ERP experience, ideally to include marketing, selling,development, and/or management of Supply Chain and ERP related solutions.
Social Media Background:0-2 years of social media managementexperience, ideally in the Facebook, LinkedIn, Blog & Twitter platforms.Any community management experience is a significant plus.
