General Description

The Security Systems Administrator will be part of the team and the operational readiness of Security Access Control systems and interact with other departments to maintain operational abilities.

  • Position reports to the Samsung Austin Semiconductor (SAS) Security Management.

  • Inventory IT systems to include port scans, Vulnerability testing, Authorization verification,

  • Create Security awareness within the organization by marketing, sending e-mails, creating presentations, and presenting material to employees and contractors.

  • Assess system configurations * Upload, pull, and analyze data from SharePoint

  • Analyze log files

  • Provide remediation

  • Offer solutions to IT

  • Working conditions may, on occasion, require exposure to the elements.

  • The ability to react calmly, quickly and rationally during an emergency situation.

  • Position may require after hour's work to respond to unusual situations.

Necessary Skills / Attributes

  • Bachelor's Degree Required in Cyber Security, Computer Science, or Engineering Degree Preferred

  • At least 3 years of experience with Cyber Security

  • Working experience with SharePoint

  • Thorough knowledge of networking and the Internet as well as all aspects of security, including authentication, access control, intrusion detection, firewalls, encryption, data integrity, disaster prevention, and disaster recovery

  • Must possess excellent written and verbal communications skills in the English language.

  • Ability to effectively read/write/speak Korean will be considered a plus, but not required.

  • Must be familiar with the fundamentals of security principles and practices
