LABEL MACHINE OPERATOR Position Description & Specifications JOB DESCRIPTION: To assure the highest quality of all products, finished and raw, through verification of all related documents, records and procedures. Ensure the company follows or is making attempts to improve its position related to Federal, State, and Local regulations involving the manufacturing of food products for human consumption. Daily operation & maintenance of bottle labeler & date coder machines. To insure all manufactured items are labeled with the appropriate labels in a timely and efficient manner to fulfill daily schedule requirements. SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES 1. SU Proficient in label machine & code dater set up for all products 2. Label scheduled items according to the specifications provided 3. Clean and maintain labeler & date coder and surrounding work areas daily 4. Maintain knowledge of updated labels & specifications. 5. Maintain label inventory based on the label stock required and notify purchasing of any impending deficiencies. 6. Participation & manage inventory counts for all labels as needed. 7. Supervise label department to insure efficient daily operations 8.
