Account Sales Manager
MarketSource, Inc. is currently seeking an Account Sales Manager to represent our client, a major technology and related products manufacturer, supporting resellers with consumable supply products.
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:
Meet and Exceed assigned sales targets for assigned territories. Maintain/grow HP Toner and Ink share. Weekly, monthly and quarterly quota sales targets. Variable compensation based on sales revenue results.
Develop, manage and implement a Reseller Business Plan for each “B” account as requested by HP. This plan should include initiative and metrics outlined by HP on a semi-annual basis. Drive sales to end users of HP Supplies products via channel route.
Execution of all channel supplies program initiatives, objectives and assignments within requested timeframes
Dedicate at least 75% of time on customer visits face to face to drive direct sales of HP Supplies
Be an expert on HP Supplies products, programs, and resources (Examples: Qualified Supplies Program, HP Partner Portal, PartnerOne Supplies Track, Channel Led Win Back, Web eAssets, SET Tool, TCO Presentation, HP Value Proposition, PurchasEdge, compatibility guides, MyHPSalesGuide, etc.)
Have working knowledge of HP printer platforms.
Be thoroughly knowledgeable on competitive activities in assigned accounts. Proactively address competitive threats and provide timely and detailed information to HP on competitive activities and response
Establish relationships within assigned reseller locations to build loyalty and increase sales. Become a trusted consultant to resellers
Accompany assigned resellers on sales calls involving current HP SMB end user customers. Ensure the end user receives positive reinforcement regarding their HP purchase decision and solid understanding of the benefits of purchasing HP Original Supplies
Proactively drive all assigned “B” IRs to obtain a Partner Agreement
Be fiscally responsible when utilizing HP Demand Generation Funds (DGF) within reseller community to maximize ROI in accordance with DGF guidelines provided by HP. Allocate spending in accordance to respective HP Product Line revenue and share
Maintain excellent professional sales and communication skills
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
Bachelor\u0027s degree or equivalent experience required
Minimum of 1 year inside/outside sales experience
Channel Sales experience preferred
Experience selling to businesses preferred
Excellent interpersonal skills necessary
Ability to take ownership of \u0026amp; initiative in a designated territory
Ability to travel up to 60% within a designated regional territory
