This opportunity is located in Dallas, Texas. Raytheon Global Business Services (GBS) has an opening in Facilities Factory Planning as a Facilities Engineer I/II. The candidate will be involved with project management over projects involving Manufacturing equipment moves and/or additions, Energy program coordination, Quality (R6s) program administration, Coordination of Proactive Maintenance process, as well as other team support activities. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Planning space for efficient fit and manufacturing flow Site layout and drawing management Support of long term Manufacturing Capital upgrade planning Incorporate creative design solutions and alternatives and seeks “best practices” to match customer needs Comprehend complex written and graphical information and articulate same to staff and peers Site emergency and recovery planning and incident command Maintain compliance with laws codes and regulations on all projects Clarify interpretations and document/code understanding Analyze financial information and communicates impact to team and customer Backup for all Site Facilities Management requirement Required Skills: Relevant experience in Factory Planning Working knowledge of AutoCAD Proficient in MS Office Tools and MS Project US Citizenship status is required Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret Clearance Desired Skills: Class projects, professional internships, or academic research demonstrating the ability to apply technical course work or computer skills. Able to assess risk and develop appropriate mitigation plans Effective communication and organizational skills.
