We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced manufacturing planner at the Greenville, TX plant. As the Supply Chain Planner, Finished Goods, you will report to the site Planning & Scheduling Lead and will be responsible for the coordination and preparation of production planning against the medium and short team plan for all assigned machines at the site.
Responsible for balancing supply and demand and preparation of the 0 to 3 month plans
Creating and communicating a valid master production schedule on an ongoing weekly basis to maximize available machine hours, material usage, and labor
Daily review and optimization of planning schedules taking into account operational and material changes along with business requirement/need
Review capacity and demand to establish and communicate lead times
Work cross functionally with production, procurement, logistics, customer service and potentially across regions
Rescheduling to cope with shirt term production issues
Inventory management including cost analysis, associated risks, making adjustments as needed and conducting forecast reviews
Sales order date confirmation and actively participate and provide input into site Sales and Operating Plan

Bachelor’s Degree required; major in supply chain or logistics preferred
APICS Certification is a plus
3 years manufacturing planning including material and supply planning required
Experience using a planning related modules in and ERP system and strong Excel skills required. Experience using Baan preferred.
Must have an excellent understanding of MRP concepts and principals
Business acumen and capable of assimilating a lot of information and of making informed decisions under pressure.
Consistent, pro-active, able to work on own initiative and able to work in a fast paced, changing environment.
Highly developed problem solving skills.
Excellent analytical and communication skills in order to ensure efficient communication exchange with all departments at all levels and suppliers. Demonstrated ability to influence others.
Capable of understanding CEM manufacturing processes and their interdependencies.
Ability to see bigger picture, yet good attention to detail.
