Under general supervision, the Machine Operator CNC I is responsible for the overall operation and programming of one or more types of Computer Numerical Controlled (CNC) machines. This is a basic machine cutting insulation. This is an entry level role and training will be available. Background in manufacturing or distribution is preferred. Must be computer savvy and be able to enter measurements in the machine. Advanced mathematical skills are necessary to perform duties. Specific Goals and Priorities Understand all functions of the piece of equipment being used. Be able to generate the CNC machine programs that control the machines. Perform machine setups Ensure the product quality requirements are met. Display consistent attention to personal safety in accordance with all applicable, company, state and federal regulations. Perform routine maintenance and general housekeeping duties Be capable of capable of performing all functions necessary to operate the Computer Numerical Controlled equipment. Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent 1 year experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment Excellent organizational skills Advanced mathematical skills Advanced computer skills Able to read a tape measure Knowledge of proper safety measures
