Our greatest asset has been and will continue to be our people. We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual to fill the position of Payroll Supervisor based in Houston, TX. This position will supervise Payroll Benefit/Equity/Accounting team.

Ensure that all payments/interfaces/journal entries are executed appropriately and in a timely manner. Operates as the subject matter expert and escalation point to resolve issues and continuously looks for improvements in processes and designs and implements those initiatives. Optimizes the contribution of the team through coaching, counseling and implements workable solutions to business issues/problems with minimum referral to management. Conducts work planning, estimation and prioritization to optimize performance of team and works with Payroll Director to define standards and reusable approaches for Payroll operations. This individual manages effective internal/external client relationships within own area of responsibility, and builds client relationships in the wider group or unit. Cover for team members in back-up role for vacation and/or high-volume work efforts. Review/approve account recons Review/approve equity payments Review/approve benefit payments Post general ledger journals throughout the month Support team with journal entries to re-class payroll charges. Support special projects, as needed Support other payroll subgroups, as needed Ability to work overtime as needed (Including some weekends if needed) Required Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years experience in supervising Positive attitude & team approach Excellent analytical & research skills Strong technical skills to troubleshoot various system questions/issues Excellent organizational skills Detailed oriented for accurate results Highly motivated individual with excellent time management skills Excellent communication skills, both oral and written Strong Excel and Word skills Highly effective team player Ability to adapt to changing environment and support of multiple groups Ability to analyze/interpret data and take appropriate action Desired Qualifications:
