  • Sr. Network Engineer must possess a CCNA or CCNP Certification for this position

  • In depth knowledge of EIGRP and BGP routing protocols

  • Must have experience with Cisco OTV

  • A working knowledge or understanding of Cisco Nexus and VOIP Technology is preferred

  • Working knowledge of authentication mechanisms, encryption technologies, networking protocols including SMTP, HTTP, DNS, TCP/IP and SNMP

  • Ability and willingness to perform on call phone support at any time of day, on any and every day of the year

  • Must have experience in implementing and supporting medium to large enterprise-sized Cisco LANS/WANS, exhibiting a proven understanding of established enterprise routing schemes and protocols, and VLAN requirements for proper management of varying user requirements and LAN services Designing and implementing QOS; Supporting Cisco wide area networks, MPLS technology, and troubleshooting circuit issues including Broadband connectivity

  • Must have a working knowledge of Web Security Systems, Two Factor Authentication, Cisco ASA, and Fortinet Firewalls

  • Must have a working knowledge of Solarwinds Orion, Opnet, and Gigamon

  • Ability to support Site-to-Site DMVPN, VPN, Client VPN connectivity, Cisco Enterprise Wi-Fi solutions

  • Ability to Install, configure and upgrade Cisco ACE Load Balancers, Fortinet Firewalls.

  • Must have excellent troubleshooting abilities with strict attention to detail

  • Self-motivated with a strong willingness to learn on the job and through self-study

  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to establish priorities, meet deadlines, and concentrate on detailed information in a fast-paced demanding work environment

  • Ability to work individually as well as in a team environment

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field preferred

  • 5+ years of experience configuring and troubleshooting Cisco network routers, switches and firewalls for medium and large size locations and enterprises

  • 2+ yr. of exp. with VOIP solutions using Avaya products

  • Experience with PCI/PII; IDS/IPS; APM; Designing and implementing Business Continuation Plans; Troubleshooting multi-vendor routers and switches; Network Management tools ( SolarWinds, Netflow Analyzer) preferred

  • This position requires about 60% travel
