Job Description

Volt is seeking to hire a dynamic, high energy and accomplished Service Support Specialist for a leading manufacturer of computer peripheral equipment including color and monochrome printers as well as multi-function products. The Service Support Specialist must possess 5 years of experience in IT Field Management. In addition, the candidate would have thorough knowledge of warranty claims, SAP, and experience in customer service.

The responsibilities of the position are:

  • Executes special or continuous research and data analysis tasks. Analyzes problems, determines approach, compiles and analyzes data and prepares reports, presentations, or recommendations

  • Responsible for establishing quality standards which enhance customer satisfaction. Distribute daily reports and regularly monitors employees for quality. Provides constructive feedback on performance.

  • Assist clients with warranty, or equipment issues after installation ensuring customer satisfaction levels are exceeded. Other reporting and administrative duties are also required as assigned.

EDUCATION: Associates Degree from an accredited college/university required.


  • 5 years of IT Field Management, Warranty Claims, and SAP

  • Microsoft Office (Word / Excel), must be strong in Excel

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Ability to address difficult customer escalation

  • Experience with SAP and Symposium preferred
