Essential Functions

The purpose of this position is to select and size filtration equipment, and prepare and issue quotations to customers and sales representatives. Also the position provides technical support to sales representatives and sales managers, fields questions from customers, reviews incoming purchase orders, and compiles orders for order entry clerks.

The duties include, but may not be limited to the following:

• Selection and sizing of filtration products and timely and accurate preparation of quotations. • Proactively provide technical support to sales representatives and sales managers. • Proactively provide customer assistance. • Coordinate and share responsibility with Project Management and Customer Service to monitor and maintain the good status of orders. • Review and write up incoming orders in a timely, accurate and comprehensive manner. • Perform special projects, as required.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications

The minimum qualifications required include, but may not be limited to, the following:

• Experience in similar industry, preferred. • Basic level skills with Microsoft Office software. • Knowledge of Oil and Gas processes and pipeline equipment and terminology, a plus. • Good communication and time-management skills. • Strong background in mathematics, chemistry and gas laws, preferred. • Team-oriented, attention to detail and well-organized. • Ability to analyze and apply technical specifications and industry standards to accurately determine requirements. • Willing to occasionally travel in U.S. and internationally. • Ability to determine or select product configurations that meet design requirements. • Ability to read and interpret documents such as, industry codes and regulations, work instructions, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. • The ability to speak, ready and write in Spanish is a plus.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• BS in Mechanical, Chemical or similar Engineering field. Masters, a plus. • Related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
