QORVO US, INC. Plasma Etch Process Development Engineer in RICHARDSON, Texas

RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop and release to production plasma etch processes to support leading-edge BAW and GaN process technologies Perform process margin/corner DOEs to ensure manufacturability of new etch processes Collaborate with cross functional teams to support long range process technology development Collaborate with Device Engineering, Process Engineering, and Fab Operations for Production release of new etch processes QUALIFICATIONS: BS, MS, or PhD in Engineering, Science or related field 5 plus years experience in plasma etch of semiconductor or MEMS devices required Experience with dielectric and metal etching using high volume manufacturing etch equipment Hands on experience with top down and cross section SEM and thin film metrology equipment required Good teaming, communication, cross functional problem solving, and statistical skills are required Proficiency expected in design of experiments, statistical process control, process defectivity reduction, and database query tools Self-starter capable of integrating diverse process and characterization data to qualify a high-volume manufacturing process Project management skills are a plus Experience with lithography, plasma ash, and post ash wet clean processes and process flow integration are a plusPrescreening Questions Must be an etch process engineer with >5 years experience, will consider exceptional candidates with 2-5 years of experience MAKE A DIFFERENCE AT QORVO We are Qorvo.
