Job Description

Seeking a seasoned Senior Process Development Engineer with Scanner/Stepper experience in the semiconductor industry:

Primary focus will include developing, qualifying and maintaining photolithography processes and tools for resist coat, expose and develop .

Responsibilities:

  • Develop new or modified process formulations, define processing or handling equipment requirements and specifications, and review processing techniques and methods applied in the manufacture, fabrication, and evaluation of products. (Involvement may begin at any step from pilot plant to full-scale manufacturing)

  • Coordinate design requirement review with appropriate engineering/scientific personnel to ensure compatibility of processing methods

  • Compile and evaluate test data to determine appropriate limits and variables for process or material specifications

  • Conceive and plan projects involving definition and selection of new concepts, equipment automation technology, and approaches in the processing or development of new or improved processes

  • Develop, establish, and sustain processes used device fabrication in a semiconductor fabrication facility

  • Work cross functionally with R&D, Manufacturing and Quality to ensure appropriate development of processes for new products and improve processes of existing products

Requirements:

  • BS, MS or PhD in Engineering, Materials, Statistics or the physical sciences

  • 5+ years’ photolithography semiconductor experience

  • Strong understanding of photolithography, process control and semiconductor processing. Experience in setting up, supporting and troubleshooting processes in ASML Stepper/Scanner is strongly desired. Support of a manufacturing facility operating 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

  • Proficiency desired in design of experiments, statistical process control, and database query tools (Oracle, Spotfire, Access, etc). Spotfire is key

  • Position will demand large amounts of time working in a cleanroom environment. Some lifting and standing will be required
