SUMMARY: Process engineer to support development and sustaining of processes in a GaAs/GaN/BAW semiconductor fabrication facility. RESPONSILIBITIES: Tool startup, process qualification Troubleshooting problems Supporting yield enhancement programs, cost and cycle time improvements Characterizing and releasing process improvements QUALIFICATIONS: Education: BS, MS or PhD in Materials, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics or related field 3 years experience in semiconductor fabrication Semiconductor device processing background with experience in semiconductor plasma etch and deposition processing Good teaming, communication, cross functional problem solving, and statistical skills are required Proficiency expected in design of experiments, statistical process control, and database query tools (Oracle, Spotfire, Access, etc.) A background of III-V processing and understanding of III-V device physics is preferred Knowledge of fab metrology equipment, failure analysis techniques and process control techniques is required Self-starter who is capable of integrating diverse process and characterization data in root cause investigation of yield issues Project management skills are a plus Job function requires support of a manufacturing facility operating 24 hours a day, 7 days a week Position will demand large amounts of time working in a cleanroom environment MAKE A DIFFERENCE AT QORVO We are Qorvo.
