Develop and sustain processes in a semiconductor fabrication facility
Developing and sustaining robust plasma ash production processes for multiple product lines
Tool startup, process qualification, troubleshooting problems, supporting yield enhancement programs, cost and cycle time improvements, characterizing and releasing process improvements
Development of new plasma ash processes and equipment evaluation
SPC control of ash processes and related equipment
BS, MS or PhD in Chemical Engineering, Material Science Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field with experience in semiconductor fabrication
3 plus years' experience preferred
This position will be Tuesday - Saturday 8am to 5pm
Semiconductor device processing background with experience in plasma etch processing preferred
Good teaming, communication, cross functional problem solving, and statistical skills are required
Proficiency expected in design of experiments, statistical process control, and database query tools
Knowledge of fab metrology equipment, failure analysis techniques and process control techniques is required
Applicant will be a self-starter that is capable of integrating diverse process and characterization data in root cause investigation of yield issues
Project management skills are a plus
Job function requires support of a manufacturing facility operating 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
Position will demand large amounts of time working in a cleanroom environment
Some lifting and standing will be required.
Direct experience with plasma ash process characterization or development
Experience with post ash wet clean processes and process flow integration
